Experience yourself what the buzz around low-code tooling for IoT is about.

From connecting your own hardware and reading sensor data values to generating an interactive dashboard app where data from multiple sensors is correlated and visualized for analytics.

For this online/interactive session we leverage your own smartphone as sensor device and our cool Cumulocity software tooling for self-service IoT and Analytics (laptop/tablet with web browser needed).

Step 1: Digital Introduction Workshop – Jurjen Lengkeek, IoT Academy

An interactive challenge leads you from the very first industrial revolution to the current digital era that enables us to get a clear picture of “Where’s my thing?” and “How is my thing doing?”.

It is packed with quizzes and polls to ensure you have fun while creating a good starting point for the hands-on IoT session.

This workshop is recommended if you are a newbie to IoT; if you already have a good understanding you may want to skip this step.

Step 2: Hands-on Session – July 8th,10:00am-11:30 am CET – Jan van der Lugt, Software AG

During this session you will use your own smartphone as connected IoT device.

Using the Cloud Sensor app for Android or Apple IOS we will connect your device to our IoT platform so we can instantly visualize the sensor- and asset-master data, such as from gyroscope, Wi-Fi signal strength, GPS and device acceleration. In other words, your smartphone as a connected and managed asset. In the cockpit in your web browser you will get the digital twin of your asset; how cool is that?

Then we’ll investigate the options for linking the IoT platform to the outside world, as integrating your IoT data with your business processes is usually where the true value is.

Step 3: Individual follow-up session

We hope that after the introduction and the hands-on session you will have become inspired and have started to get a clear view on what the value of such self-service IoT and Analytics tooling could be for your business.

Together we take some extra time to exchange ideas on what could be the next steps for your company, based on our best practices.
