Program Terms & conditions
- Registration to this competition is open to all 3rd & 4th year university students enrolled in any STEM program or individuals below the age of 25 that are residing in the UAE & have previous experience in STEM. Students will be required to create use-cases that align with Industry 4.0 & upload the values of sustainability as set by the United Nations.
- A maximum of two teams per university are allowed to register and each team should have only 4 – 5 students in total.
- Participation in the competition is free of cost, and no registration fees will be levied before or after the event.
- Software AG will provide full access to the Cumulocity IoT platform & fully cover the expenses for building the demo/showcase for the top 3 shortlisted teams.
- Out of all the participating teams, only the top 3 shortlisted teams will receive complete funding from Software AG to build their IoT innovation to showcase it at GITEX Global 2023.
- Software AG will reserve the right to showcase the top 3 developed IoT innovations for ongoing business activities, such as marketing, demos, etc.
- All registering teams will be required to participate in additional promotional activity and will be featured in supporting marketing collateral. By entering the competition, you give Software AG the right to use your name and photos that feature you for these activities.
- Any external communication, including press releases and media statements, related to the program from the university must receive prior approval from Software AG's Marketing and Public Relations teams.
