Travis Vliem, Digital Product Manager, Flexco
Travis is responsible for all things related to the Flexco Elevate® IoT platform – researching and designing business capabilities and go-to-market strategies, implementing, and driving adoption of the program, assisting in researching and developing new sensing and monitoring systems, capturing and evaluating the voice of the customer in relation to program development, and investigating ways to integrate additional Flexco products into the IoT ecosystem. He has been with Flexco since 2021. He graduated from the University of Wyoming with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Shawn Akkila, IoT Solutions Architect, Flexco
Shawn is a Solutions Architect responsible for the Enterprise Architecture of the Elevate IoT initiative. He is also overseeing and supporting the design, implementation, testing and support for current Elevate and any future and strategic IoT offerings by Flexco and partners. He joined Flexco in 2019 and has over 25 years IT experience which includes 7 years IoT Architecture & Full Stack development. He has a bachelor’s degree in Electronics/Computer Engineering attending Florida Institute of Technology (Melbourne) and DeVry Institute of Technology (Kansas City).
Sean Riley, Vice President, Global Industry Solutions, Software AG
Sean Riley is Vice President, Industry Solutions and head of the global Center of Excellence for Value Engineering for Software AG. Over the past decade, Mr. Riley has been obsessively focused on enterprise digital transformation with a focus on leveraging technologies like IoT, Predictive Analytics, Machine Learning and Intelligent Automation as applied to production, field services, supply chains, logistics and new product development.
Prior to joining Software AG in 2011, Mr. Riley has over ten years of experience in the supply chain, logistics & manufacturing fields. In addition to his work experience, Mr. Riley has received a BA in Business Administration from Hanover College, a MBA with Distinction from DePaul University and is a certified Six Sigma Greenbelt. As well as being a continual guest lecturer for DePaul University, Mr. Riley also sits on the curriculum advisory committee for the DePaul Graduate Program for Supply Chain and Operations Management and has been named a Supply & Demand Chain Executive “Pro to Know” for seven consecutive years.
